Dear Santa - PPA181 Sketch Challenge

Happy Thanksgiving Stampers! I celebrated yesterday with my family and today I am in full Christmas mode! My card today is based on the Pals Paper Arts Sketch for this week:
I have been itching to use the Santa's List stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. I am so glad I purchased this set...so easy to use and just a darling rendering of Santa!
This card is pretty straightforward but one thing I did want to point out is the chevrons. I do not own the new chevron punch yet so I improvised by using the Hexagon Punch! I simply punch a hexagon out and then using a post it note, ran it through the punch again to create the chevron shape!
Necessity is the mother of invention!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday doing what you love best!

Oh, I love this card--really love that red/white stripe with Santa! And thanks for the chevron tip with the hex punch!
What a delightful card! Love your chevron work- around. The diamond you're left with is pretty nifty too! Thanks for the inspiration!
This is fabulous! I tried making the chevron with my hexagon punch but didn't do that well. I ended up using a corner punch.
Love your card, and I'll have to remember the hexagon punch to chevrons tip - super easy!
Shannon--It is always a treat to view your creations. This is such a cute card. I love that little peek of the red and white striped Season of Style under the Santa image. Thanks so much for contributing to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week.
I love this card, Shannon! Crisp, clean and soooo classy! Thanks for the chevron tip - I don't have that punch either! Thanks for playing with PPA this week :)
Absolutely perfect, Shannon! Clean, cute, and classy!
Stunning! I love how you used just red and white - and ingenious use of the hexagon punch.
What a great idea to use a post it to help punch out shapes from a punched shape
