Just Love - CCMC-005
I have not quite put Valentine's Day behind me...I've been spending my creative time making Valentine's Day/Love You cards to send next year to the troops when I came across this delightful sketch from Create with Connie and Mary. The sketch they provided was just for their design team but I did not let that deter me!
I instantly 'saw' a card in my head and sat down to create this:
This was a very simple card to create, almost straight from my first vision! I used one of the images from the Oh Hello stamp set in Basic Gray and ran it through my Big Shot with the new Oval Framelit Dies (which I purchased together to save a bit of $$ - Oh Hello Bundle #131101). I used my new Hearts a Flutter Bundle to stamp and cut out my cute little heart shape-so simple to use!
I created the littlest heart by stamping the heart image from the new Best of Love stamp set in Pool Party and strategically punching it out with my small heart punch. I also had a chance to break out the new Needlepoint Border Embossing Folders-love the stitching detail! The little valley between the embossed stitching and the embossed scallop made a PERFECT spot to run a bit of baker's twine - I think it was made for that!! The sentiment is from the Best of Love stamp set as well...I'm loving that stamp set!
I hope you have enjoyed today's project, I would love it if you left me a comment letting me know what you think...I read and cherish your comments!
